This is a versatile tripod, equally at home for photographic use or as a support for spotting scope or binocular with appropriate adapter. It features a robust ball and socket head which is simple way to mount your camera or spotting scope. The head will point in any direction, including vertically up or down. The ball and socket head also has a quick release platform that so that you can mount or dismount your camera or scope in seconds. There is a spare platform included so you can change between camera and scope in seconds. The head also has a built in bubble level to help the user level the platform. There is a mechanical rising column which can be cranked up and down by the folding handle and can be locked in any position. The tripod legs have two extending sections which can be locked in any intermediate position. The legs are centrally braced and can be locked in at various angles by the central column lock. The end of the legs have rubber feet for grip. The tripod comes supplied with heavy duty case, which has carrying handle/shoulder strap and pocket to carry the spare platform and tool kit which are also supplied with the tripod.
