Spotting Scope Accessories

The TA-100 adapter mount allows a Sony DSLR body to be mounted on a PA adapter to take photographs using eyepiece projection, taking full advantage of the zoom capabilities of the eyepiece.

The TA-101 adapter mount allows a Nikon DSLR body to be mounted on a PA adapter to take photographs using eyepiece projection, taking full advantage of the zoom capabilities of the eyepiece.

The TA-106 adapter mount allows a Canon SLR & DSLR body to be mounted on a PA adapter to take photographs using eyepiece projection, taking full advantage of the zoom capabilities of the eyepiece.

The Vanguard PA-107 camera adapter allows the user to attach an SLR camera, with the appropriate ‘T’ mount, to their spotting scope. The unit can be used with the following Vanguard spotting scopes: • High Plains 560/580/561/581 • Signature Plus Series • Signature Series • VSP Series

The QT-28 CG adapter is used to alter the centre of gravity when using photgraphic equipment in conjunction with the VSH-66 spotting scope mounted on a tripod. It allows balance to be achieved by moving the scope forwards thus altering the centre of gravity. The QT-28 adapter is supplied as part of the VSH spotting scope kit.

The QT-30 CG adapter is used to alter the centre of gravity when using photgraphic equipment in conjunction with the VSH-88 spotting scope mounted on a tripod. It allows balance to be achieved by moving the scope forwards thus altering the centre of gravity. The QT-30 adapter is supplied as part of the VSH spotting scope kit.

The Vanguard PA-68 digital camera adapter allows pictures to be taken through the Signature 68 and 76 spotting scopes by enabling a camera to be directly suspended over the scopes eyepiece. The adapter has adjustment in three planes which enables the vast majority of compact and SLR cameras to be used. In addition the adapter allows the camera to be swung away from the eyepiece to enable the user to make visual observations before returning the camera to take more pictures. This is a great advantage and makes using the adapter both simple and convenient.

The wide angle EA-1 eyepiece is compatible with the Platinum VSH-66 & 88 spotting scopes giving 20x and 25x magnification respectively. The wide field of view is impressive. When used with the VSH-66 the apparent field of view at a thousand yards is 132ft and 105ft with the VSH-88. The eyepiece bayonet’s into body of the scope and is waterproof. The EA-1 comes supplied with a pouch case and an SLR camera adapter for the digi-scoper. The eyepiece has a limited lifetime guarantee. Take a deep breath the first time you look through an EA-1, it will take your breath away.
